My advice to anyone wanting to be signed up would be to steer clear of this sort of "pay to be heard" nonsense. If you want to make it then you have to get your stuff heard and get some profile for yourself... i.e. gig a lot, build a loyal followin…

Nope but it isn't illegal because obviously EVERY applicant who enters gets feedback on their entry and why it wasn't successful. Those other applicants don't even respond to u once they have your money.

Exactly it's not illegal or a scam. Many sites run competitions similiar- coast2coastmixtapes.com, unsignedcompetiton.com and britiasia charge 20 pound a competition.

Bullshit. Record labels aren't a charity, they make the profit off the band by taking a risk and signing someone. They employ A&R men to scout for talent. There are costs for checking thousands of demos? Really? At £15 a demo then presumably that'…
